The bible says in John 15:13 “there is not greater love than when He laid down His life for his friends”. Jesus Christ laid down His life for you and I. Be grateful towards Him without restrictions. He was without selfishness crucified for us; give Him all the honor, glory and power for His loving irreplaceable sacrifice. Acknowledge Jesus as the Faithful Friend your soul so desire. Once you give Jesus the place in your life as your “best friend” you will see how your life is going to be transformed. Because He is more than just a Friend He is our Savior.
Stop longing for a man or a woman to be your best friend or fill up a void in your life that only God can! Ask Jesus to be first in your life and your best friend, and then He will bring your way divine relationships, people that will help you, edify and build into your purpose and the destiny of God for your life, He will bring those who will bless you in His will. It is so much more different to have divine relationships than to have a bunch of so call friends that will/or might come and go into your life to take from you instead of giving to you. It is true the bible says; “It is better to give than to receive,” but also, it is written in the word of God, “do not cast your pearl to the pigs” you are of so much more value than what you think or believe, not for your pride, but for the Glory of God. Because He made you and I according to His own image, and what He put inside of us are those pearls that He is saying to you and I today: “do not cast your pearls to them pigs.” Your heart, your time, your dreams, etc., all of that are part of your pearls, do not surround yourself with pigs, (read more in Matthew 7:6-8). There is a big difference between giving and taking, “when we give, it is willingly,” but, “when someone takes from us that is force” and sometimes the assignment behind it is to destroy the soul. I am not telling you that with Christ you will not have pain or suffering, but, I am telling you there is a better way without the unnecessary process with our Lord Jesus, He knows what is best for us. Let Him choose the people around you and not you yourself, because you might know what you want but you don’t know what you need. There is no greater love than the Love Jesus Christ has for us; His Love is Faithful, Selfless, Kind, and His Love Never Fails! “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
